Our Varsity Cross Country team had a fun race on Friday night where the runners all got glow sticks and could wear costumes. It wasn’t all fun and games though - we left with some big PRs and two new school records!
Ava M ran a new school record of 21:25 and Wyatt V ran a new middle school 5K record of 19:46.
New PRs for Benji, Grayson L, Indy, Michael, and Carter with new Season’s Bests for Gaby, Silas, Zoran, and Finn.
Next week the Ducks are racing at Foundation Academy. Go Ducks!
Our Ducks Middle School Cross Country team had a strong showing at their second race of the year with two top 10 finishes and lots of PRs.
Grayson finished 2nd with a PR, and Darren finished 10th with a PR. Kymani and Jonathan also dropped their times by over a minute from two weeks ago.
Next week, our middle schoolers will try to qualify for States at Foundation Academy. Go Ducks!
