Recent College Placement for Student Athletes
Big day on Saturday for the middle school cross country with wins in both the boys and girls races!
Ava took first in the girls race with a new school record for the 2 mile.
Wyatt won the boys race with a new school record in the 2 mile as well.
Our boys team won the meet thanks to 4 boys in the top 10 and lots of PRs.
Grayson placed 3rd with a new PR while Silas placed 4th and Finn placed 6th, helping secure the win.
Indy, Darren and Jonathan all had big PRs while Dylan and Kymani also lowered their season’s bests, helping keep our score low while giving some extra points to other teams to keep us securely in first place.
The team heads to Lakeland on Friday for the FLRunners meet to compete in one of the biggest meets of the season. Go Ducks!

Ducks XC had a big weekend with 5 top-10 finishes, 1 win, and 2 runners qualifying for FLYRA States.
Congrats to Wyatt (4th), Silas (6th), Grayson (8th), and Gaby (10th) for their top-10 finishes in their respective races, and to Ava for winning the middle school girls` race!
Ava and Wyatt also qualified for Middle School States, and Wyatt set a new school 3k record!
Next week, the Ducks JV and Varsity teams get a weekend off, while the middle school team heads back to their final GFAC race before the championship.
